Assessments
Three times a year every student should take one of our Diagnostic Assessments. The purpose of these is:
- To see how your child is getting on
- To see if your child is on track in the curriculum and most importantly
- To identify any weaknesses or gaps in knowledge that can be fixed through a combination of the Lessons and Network Teacher Line
Don't forget, our adaptive learning system not only monitors the progress of your children, it also will:
- Identify problem topics
- Direct your child to the right lessons to overcome the difficulties
- Test how well the lesson has been understood
- Recommend contacting the Network Teacher Helpline where necessary
In addition to the assessments, children can also take Certificates of Achievement exams to help boost their confidence and to record their progress. When they pass one of these exams, we send them a personalised certificate.
